Cobh Family Resource Centre always buzzes with activity when our adult education course are in full swing during the Spring and Autumn terms.
Creativity almost always features in our short hobby and leisure course options, but as we also boast a fabulous computer room you’ll usually find a computer class to suit your level at some stage in the year. Over the years courses have included horticulture, holistic therapy, sewing, painting, mindfulness, photography and much more. For more details on our short hobby & leisure courses see Short Hobby Courses
As well as the popular hobby courses we also offer various short term social and skills based courses during the year such as personal development workshops and parenting courses. For more information about our Parents Plus courses and upcoming dates click Parenting Plus Courses
Promoting and supporting good mental health is also very important to us here at Cobh FRC so we regularly have workshops and short courses focused on ways to mind your mental health and manage stress. These are often facilitated by organisations like SHEP (Social and Health Education Project) and Shine Mental Health, as well as in house facilitators.
To find out more about longer term, FETAC and QQI accredited courses being held at Cobh FRC go to FETAC & QQI Accredited courses
For more information on current courses contact the centre or check out our facebook page for any new courses and training. Why not sign up to our e-newsletter here to stay up to date on all our adult education news?
